| Palatine Community Sports College
Palatine is a co-educational sports college for 11-16 year olds located in the South of the town. Within the BSF programme a complete rebuild is planned.
Palatine has made significant progress in recent years, the latest Ofsted Inspection reported, an improving and increasingly popular school where standards and achievements are rising. Recent KS3 and KS4 exam performances support this judgement and the last 2 years has seen record performances from Palatine students.
The school are extremely proud of the continual high value-added data that has been achieved, a marker that gives a true indication of a schools success. In this regard, value added data has consistently placed Palatine highly in the national context.
At the school emphasis is placed on developing 'rounded individuals' whilst preparing students for their future chosen careers. To embed a positive ethos a wide range of extracurricular opportunities is offered to all students. There is an active House System and achieving Sports College status has further supported the schools values. The Physical Education faculty is now in its fourth year as a Sports College. This status has facilitated an examination of curriculum opportunities as the school strives to allow its pupils to develop as performers, coaches, umpires and sporting leaders.
