Outline Business Case Approved

Official approval of the Outline Business Case was granted by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and Partnerships for Schools (PfS) on Wednesday 25^th March 2009. This is a significant achievement and a major milestone in Blackpool’s BSF Programme which is a direct result of a substantial amount of hard work from the BSF team over recent months.

Feedback from the review team detailed that the Authority provided a clear and detailed explanation of the educational transformation vision for Blackpool and how BSF would enable the achievement of that vision.

The team at PfS who have been working with Blackpool are also extremely pleased with the outcome and look forward to continuing to work with the Authority with the intention of helping to ensure the best outcome for the children of Blackpool.
